Phenolic resin is the reaction product of phenol and formaldehyde. It offers good mechanical strength, dimensional/thermal
stability, and good resistance to electricity, solvent, and acid. It is widely used in molding materials (including electronic
packaging materials), laminating materials, polishing materials, bonding, impregnation, casting and other applications.
This series is a thermoplastic phenolic resin with yellow or light yellow flakes or rods, characterized in as follows:
1. high intensity, small amount consuming to low the cost
2. Little gas forming, reduce the air hole defect on cast and increase the rate of finished product.
3. Good liquidity, easy coated, full filling without dead angle
4. Low free phenol and low environment pollution, better the working environment.
5. Quick curing, improve the core shooting rate and shorten the working time
Designed for manufacture of brake pads, brake linings and clutch facings in braking system.Narrow particle size distribution,
consistent, high bonding strength.
Instruction:1. Binder (5-20%) :phenolic resin, rubber
2.Fiber (5-35%): inorganic fiber (glass, ceramic, steel, copper); organic fiber (Kevlar, carbon fiber etc.)
3.Abrasive (0-10%): Aluminum oxide, iron oxide, zirconium oxide.
4.Filler (20-60%): Friction particle, Barite, Calcium carbonate, tire fiber, petroleum coke.
5.Lubricant (0-5%): Graphite, Molybdenum sulfide, antimony sulfide.
